AICC Members News: GSMA PARTNERS WITH Nexperience TO PROVIDE REMOTE ACCESS TO THE LATEST HANDSETS

gsmaGSMA is the global trade organization for over 750 mobile carriers worldwide. The organization was established twenty years ago as a standards association, and now has evolved into a global mobile neutral operator-centric group. GSMC is the commercial entity that operates all GSMA conferences in Barcelona, Macao and now Atlanta and the virtual conference centered in Israel. GSMC is now also a media group that operates its own research company, online news service and a daily mailer distributed to over 20,000 subscribers.

Nexperience joined AICC in 2008 following their participation in the Mobile Innovations Business Exchange with Amdocs and at&t in April 2008

GSMA’s partner, Nexperience, provides a unique service which enables mobile application developers and content providers to access and control a multitude of real mobile handsets via the Internet.

GSMA has partnered with Nexperience to provide Mobile Innovation Market members with ten hours of the Nexperience Handset Clouse service, free of charge.

Using this service, MIM members anywhere in the world can develop and test their mobile applications and services on a comprehensive range of the latest and most popular mobile handsets, which are physically located in the US and the UK. Through the service, users can automate standard testing tasks, and showcase and promote their latest mobile technology innovations to the mobile ecosystem, end-users and the business community via the web.

This service can help MIM members reduce the time-to-market, cost and complexity of developing and deploying innovative mobile services to the global market, while ensuring performance and compatibility across multiple handsets, networks and geographies.
