Mazor Surgical Technologies Ltd. (TASE:MZOR) has signed agreements and obtained permits for the installation of its C-Insight 3D surgical imaging system at three US hospitals. The agreements mean that the company has met an important development and marketing milestone for the system.
Mazor is installing C-Insight at three beta sites at the Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta, the Florida Campus of the Cleveland Clinic near Miami, and at Newton Wellesley Hospital near Boston. The systems will be used in orthopedic surgical procedures over the coming months.
Mazor Surgical Technologies was founded in 2001, and is dedicated to the research, development, production, marketing and sales of innovative medical devices for surgical procedures. Mazor’s proprietary technology enables a safer surgical environment for patients, surgeons and OR staff, by utilizing miniature robotic, imaging and implant technologies.
